A Collaborative Learning Activity to Analyze the Sustainability of an Innovation Using PESTLE

This paper presents a collaborative learning activity for courses in engineering degrees or master’s programs that cover the subject and skills of sustainability, social compromise, ethics engineering. The consists performing multidisciplinary analysis case study, which technology innovation, to detect debate possible issues solutions. is based on PESTLE methodology used analyze political, economic, social, technological, legal, environmental aspects innovation. implemented using jigsaw technique. can be completed two sessions hours. To validate its usefulness, was applied semesters study courses: one Informatics Engineering Degree other Master Sustainability at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, with very good results.
